Pyramid Power Washing
How often should I have my home power / pressure washed? We recommend (not always needed based on your area) having your house washed at least once per year. This provides consistent protection from harmful algae, mold, and other contaminants. On many surfaces, doing a annual cleaning will suffice. Having your home cleaned more frequently may be due to the area surrounding your home. Such as trees, shrubs, wooded areas & major roadways or just traffic in general.
What is the difference between power washing & soft washing? They all fall under exterior cleaning services. Power washing & soft washing are similar, but there are a few differences. Power washing is just that, “power” a strong stream of water @ high pressure. Which is used to clean extremely hard surfaces such as sidewalks, stone, brick walls, parking garages, building exteriors & concrete.
Pressure washing Can lead to water wastage and potential surface damage, while soft washing is more sustainable and reduces the risk of surface erosion. Power Washing & Soft Washing is always the best two processes.
Soft Washing Employs low-pressure water combined with specialized detergents to remove dirt and contaminants gently. Soft washing focuses on treating surfaces delicately while effectively eliminating contaminants.
Are our power washing services safe for plants, animals, and the environment? Yes, we have ECO Friendly cleansers & chemicals that are 100% safe and biodegradable and our process is 100% safe for plants and animals. Not to leave out we always rise your home or property and plants with fresh water once the chemicals has cleaned the contaminates 100%. Rising with water must be done after cleaning your property.
Do I need to move my plants and or furniture before cleaning? Yes, we prefer customers to move all plants & furniture. Covering furniture is also ok to do if the covers do not blow off while we are rising with water. We can move them, but we do charge to move and or replace all items.
FAQs
Are you insured? Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. Every professional exterior cleaning company should have the necessary insurance coverage.
Can you give me a quote over the phone without seeing my property? Yes. Our trained technicians know what questions to ask to give you an accurate quote. We also use the county records to obtain the square footage of your property to aid in the process. All residential and commercial property fees are based on square footage and in some cases charged for services per hour. All we need is a list of what you wish cleaned. Our A La Carte fees are listed on our website or just ask the technician.
Does Pyramid Power Washing use the customers’ water? Yes, we do require access to a working water spigot on the outside of your home or property.
Does power washing increase the value of my property? Yes, absolutely! Washing the exterior of your home can add $15,000 or more to the sale price, according to the National Association of Realtors.
Do I need to be home for my services? No. For your convenience, you do not need to be home. All we ask is for you to make sure you close all windows and doors to make sure all your moveable flowers & plants are removed or covered as well as your patio or deck furniture. Unless your furniture is weather resistant. Many times, deck and patio furniture are weatherproof. If this is the case your furniture will be fine. On your service date please make sure your water spigot is working and not turned off from inside your home.
What happens if it rains on my day of service? Our team will work in light rain only & if it is not windy, we will be fine. If the weather is too extreme, our technicians will reach out regarding rescheduling the service.
How will I know when my technician is on the way? You will receive an automated text and or email when the technician is enroute to your home. There is also a reminder the day before that will be sent.
Will your house wash remove the “green stuff” from my siding, patios, decks etc.? Yes, it will. The “green stuff” you see on your home is a form of algae that affects thousands of homes each year. Our process is designed to safely eliminate not only algae from your home, but also mold, dirt, grime, pollen, and other contaminants.
Can we clean brick & concrete surfaces? Yes, absolutely! We have a safe and effective process for cleaning brick & concrete surfaces. Many times, we may have to use a “DOUBLE DOSE” of cleaners based on how long the dirt has been festering on your brick or concrete.
Do we clean out gutters? No, we do not clean inside gutters from leaves, dirt, or debris. We can always refer you to a gutter cleaning company.
Do we clean the outside of gutters? Yes, during our house wash we will power washing solution & soap that will clean & rinse the exterior of your gutters. Our process will not clean the front or bottom of your gutters 100% if oxidation has already started. If you see what we call “tiger strips” on the outside of your gutters. What that means is the dirt from years of not cleaning them has oxidized causing it to penetrate the paint as the water drips down. Some dirt will be cleaned but not always 100%
Can we clean oil, grime & rust stains? Yes. But, depending on how long the stain has penetrated the concrete, brick or pavers or any porous material, we cannot guarantee 100% cleanliness. But the stains will be much lighter in color and less visible.
Can we clean & remove leaf/berry marks from my concrete? While we may be able to lighten some of these marks up, our process cannot safely remove organic marks. The good news is that these organic marks go away fully on their own over a short period of time.
